Backlash for DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2018 list as Reddit’s is praised as more accurate

The name’s are in for this year’s DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2018 and the international DJ community (artists and fans alike) is not happy. With loads of big names in the scene criticising DJ Mag’s methods, the list has been roasted the world over; many have commented on how a great deal of the ‘top’ DJ’s are only there because of expensive, exorbitant media campaigns that ensured them spots on the list. 

Luckily, our rag-tag friend Reddit saved the day on this one, sharing their very own list that seems to be way more accurate when it comes to which DJs should be in the topspots. Although there are many differences between the two lists, both have Martin Garrix placed firmly at the top, which perhaps says something for this young Dutch artist.
