Los Angeles indie dream-pop duo tiny deaths have released their new EP, Magic – The Remixes. The EP dropped on October 4th via Handwritten Records. The EP includes remixes by electronic-experimental artist Big Cats, New York-based Indie hip-hop producer and Doomtree‘s founding member Paper Tiger, Yabil, and tiny death’s own Grant Cutler. The duo are scheduled to perform on three dates alongside Pale Honey in October (see below).
Grant Cutler and Claire de Lune, also known as tiny deaths, have been featured by numerous publications. The Guardian, Billboard, The 405, Stereogum, Earmilk, Clash Magazine and PopMatters, among others, have applauded the band on their efforts. In addition, they have also received support from assorted radio airwaves such as BBC Radio 1 with Huw Stephens, as well as US stations KEXP 90.3 FM, Radio K (KUOM), and The Current (KCMP).
On Magic (The Remixes) tiny deaths draw influences from various genres amalgamating into a unique blend of unusual, yet enthralling excursions – elegant vocals floating through vivid drum beats and electronic channels. New songs birthed from old songs with each song being impressively reworked. Tracklist and tour dates can be found below.
