American producer and composer Moose with a Scarf (Anthony Sabatino) has returned with a variation of his energetic EDM track ‘Won’t Let You Go’, released on the 13th of October 2023. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and USC, he has composed music for over 100 different film, game, and television projects, with Moose with a Scarf existing as his EDM moniker. He has also developed an interactive music app Tabletop Tunes, writing and producing all the music for the application.
The listener is launched into ‘Won’t Let You Go’ with a charged yet optimistic house chord progression. An energetic dance-ready beat kicks off with Lauren Richards’ clear, powerful and passionate vocals. The drop is a gratifying EDM amalgam of a four-on-the-floor beat, driving layered chords and a playfully happy synth line wiggling around in a catchy melody. This synth line is carried through in the final bridge where it dances and modulates into an ecstatic crescendo. The lyrics are wholesome and triumphant, touching on themes of love and unconditional commitment. ‘Won’t Let You Go’ is a delight to listen to.
