Producing duo Lucky Rose shares uplifting dance song ‘Help’

Times have been tough across all genres, but none more than electronic music made to be played out in sweaty clubs, and epic festivals. French-Canadian duo, Lucky Rose have been maintaining their live chops by transitioning cancelled summertime sets into live streaming concerts and making new music.

The first release from Lucky Rose’s pandemic sessions is called “Help,” a collaboration with Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Jason Walker who has previously collaborated with Kygo.

“The song’s about how everybody needs some help sometimes, could be from a friend or a lover or your family,” explains Vincent Carrier of Lucky Rose. “Sometimes you feel like a weak person, but I don’t think so. When you need it, you should look for it and people will be happy to help you.”

“Help” is a feel-good dance-pop banger purpose-built for this unprecedented moment.

“It’s nice to have a song that’s talking about the pandemic but not directly too much. It’s uptempo and not dark, a really happy vibe,” Carrier says of the single’s sound, combining low-key breakbeat and drum’n’bass vibes with a lead piano, some electric guitar and the pair’s trademark catchy hooks. “We hope it’s going to connect with people and help them have a better day when they listen. That’s the goal.”

Help” follows up Lucky Rose’s two Gold-certified hits “Lost” feat. Jordan Hart, and “Wild One” feat. Tep No, and is out now on Ultra Music.
