Belgian producer and DJ Ghost Jr released his single ‘Back To You’ via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records on 30 October 2026. The energetic track blends electro house, dance-pop, trance, and techno for both club and casual listening.
At just under three minutes, ‘Back To You’ features a bouncy electro bassline, rubbery synths, crisp vocals, and a rich melody. Its punchy production blends club energy with bright dance-pop sensibilities. Minimal lyrics leave room for interpretation, with Ghost Jr explaining that the song evolved from a personal tribute to his mother into a universal theme: “It’s about anything you keep returning to, no matter how far you go. Home, a person, a feeling.”
Born in Brasschaat, Belgium, and now based in Valencia, Spain, Ghost Jr was introduced to electronic music early by his father, veteran Belgian producer and DJ Ghost (known for ‘Blow Up the Speakers’, ‘Airport’, and ‘Needle Destruction’). Starting in his bedroom, Ghost Jr went on to play festivals across Europe like Ostend Beach, Fantasia, and Tomorrowland, where he shared a Cherry Moon Legends set with his father.
Ghost Jr crafts an identity blending Eurodance, trance, and techno, drawing influence from artists like Pegassi, Marlon Hoffstadt, Dimitri Vegas, and Funk Tribu. His September single ‘2 Phones’ gained acclaim from CLASH Magazine as a “moody, full-force club heater,” adding to over 300,000 streams. Signing with Dim Mak represents another key milestone, with ‘Back To You’ setting the stage for his upcoming EP in December.
