Emerging electronic music artist Mathilde SPZ released her new single ‘Unforgettable’ on September 20th 2024. The single is a fun fusion of house, EDM as well as dance and features Mathilde’s poignant vocals, making it an instant dancefloor heater.
Mathilde SPZ currently boasts over 2.7 million streams on Spotify as well as features on editorial playlists such as New Music Daily and New Music Friday within the Nordic region. ‘Unforgettable’ is Mathilde’s 10th solo release, and she’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Mathilde has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in Norway including Øya, Stavern, Slottsfjell and Pstereo to name a few, with her master’s degree in performance no doubt adding an extra edge to her artistry.
In the single, Mathilde SPZ tells a tale of yearning for your love interest’s attention, but switches things up, and instead of focussing on the frustration this brings, the track channels the longing into a carefree, fun, dancefloor extravaganza. Mathilde SPZ shares; “I hope this song will make people dance despite their mood! My goal with this song is to make people happy and hopefully give them the boost they need to dare to do what they want to do!”
The blissful single was written by Mathilde, with co-writing credits going to Liza Vassilieva, Gard Stokland and Tim Åsgard. It was produced by Ola Frøyen and Mathilde, with mixing by Ola and Morgan Nicolaysen on mastering duties.
