Afrojack’s Kapuchon Project Debuts on Hot Creations With New House Heater ‘Secret Moves’

Afrojack has unveiled the latest release under his Kapuchon moniker, marking the alias’ first appearance on Hot Creations with the arrival of the driving new single, ‘Secret Moves’.

Released via the influential label founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, the track continues Kapuchon’s commitment to club-focused house music. ‘Secret Moves’  favours subtle progression over dramatic shifts, gradually layering tension throughout its runtime. A short vocal fragment briefly cuts through the arrangement before dropping away, allowing the record’s low-end energy to remain firmly in control.

While Afrojack is best known for his festival-scale productions, Kapuchon has long served as an outlet for his deeper house and techno influences. Originally introduced more than a decade ago, the project returned to the spotlight in 2020 with the release of ‘10 Years Later’ alongside the launch of Kapuchon Records.

Since its revival, the alias has steadily carved out its own identity within underground club culture. Unreleased productions have found support from major names including Swedish House Mafia, Anyma, Dom Dolla and John Summit, helping establish Kapuchon as more than simply an alternative outlet for the Dutch producer.

The Hot Creations debut arrives amid a busy year for the project. Earlier in 2026, Afrojack took to the Ultra Music Festival main stage twice in one day, opening proceedings as Kapuchon before later returning under his flagship Afrojack name. He also joined Shimza for a back-to-back performance at Coachella’s Quasar stage in April, following a March North American club run that brought the alias to venues including Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, Refuge in Brooklyn and StereoBar in Montreal.

‘Secret Moves’ follows a string of recent releases from Afrojack, including May’s ‘Hot Sauce’ with Miss Monique and GLZ on AETERNA Records, as well as March’s Black Book Records collaboration ‘Control’ alongside Lucas & Steve.

With a debut on one of house music’s most established labels now added to its catalogue, Kapuchon’s momentum continues to build as the project further distinguishes itself from Afrojack’s mainstream festival persona.Listeners can stream ‘Secret Moves’ now.
