Music producers Swedish House Mafia evolve with new music video

This is not a dream. I repeat, this is not a dream and you can open your eyes. Renowned EDM trio Swedish House Mafia are reunited and packed with extra attitude as well as a new sound direction in their band reboot. The trio shared the news of their reunion these past few days and this information has already seen thousands of retweets and shares on social media, it kind of feels like the public is in a frenzy about the news and why would they not be? This is, after all, the trio that brought calm to the public after the conspiracies of the world ending in 2012 re-surfaced. How did they do so you might wonder?

In 2012, the trio released their anthemic single ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, which has been streamed over 600 million times on Spotify to date and certainly turned up the energy in clubs all over the world. The trio consists of members Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello who all departed from the group in 2013 to pursue other ventures. Fans across the world were disheartened about the news, but at least they ended the news with a final emotional event with Ultra Miami in 2013. It was revealed that there were indeed some creative differences and tension between the lads building up to the final show.

Now it’s a new decade, and the fires have been put out between these guys as they have shared their first offering ‘It Get’s Better’ via SSA Recording which is certainly a change of tone from their former sound. Nonetheless, the same spirit exists that makes them engaging and animated. This latest single has also been unveiled with a music video, which has a dystopian flair and it is hard not to stop watching and nodding your head along to. We look forward to seeing what this trio unveils in the week to come, and the public does as well. The video has been streamed over 7 million times on YouTube to date since its release last Thursday – enough said.
