‘Still Friends’ is a vast and expansive record. PLEEG has managed to mix the record using precise panning and stereo widening to evoke a sense of spaciousness and depth. This, however, changes as the song evolves. A blend of pulsating vocal cuts, layered synths, and sharp bass takes centre stage, appearing in the near-field audio range to juxtapose the wide builds, switching from stereo to mono in a heartbeat (read more about PLEEG, in collaboration with producer Eyezic, here).
