Major Lazer, Shakira and Future Headline FIFA World Cup 2026’s Biggest Musical Project Yet

Major Lazer, Future, Tyla, Shakira and Burna Boy are among the artists selected to soundtrack the FIFA World Cup 2026, with FIFA unveiling an ambitious 18-track album designed to accompany the tournament across Canada, Mexico and the United States. Bringing together names from electronic, pop, hip-hop and Afrobeats, the project serves as a musical celebration of the world’s biggest sporting event. 

The project spans continents and genres, pairing global superstars with rising voices across pop, Latin, hip-hop, and Afrobeats. Highlights include Major Lazer, Nelly Furtado and Davido joining forces on ‘No Place Like Home’,  Shakira and Burna Boy linking up for ‘Dai Dai’, Future and Tyla on ‘Game Time’,  and LISA, Anitta and Rema on ‘Goals’.The album also features a remixed version of The Rolling Stones’ ‘In the Stars’,  adding a legacy rock moment to the otherwise contemporary lineup.

Other notable collaborations include Daddy Yankee and Shenseea on ‘Echo’Stormzy alongside Fridayy and Angel on ‘Blessings’, and 21 Savage teaming with Nata Cano and French Montana for “Three Nations.” The tracklist also brings in global crossover moments from artists like Ayra Starr, Latto, Shaggy, and Belinda, reinforcing the project’s intent to blend languages, cultures, and sounds into a unified soundtrack for the tournament.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the album was designed to “unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football,” with selected artists also set to perform at official Countdown Concerts in Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles ahead of kickoff. The full album is now available for pre-save across major streaming platforms as anticipation builds for the 2026 World Cup.
